Russian Cole Slaw
2 qts. shredded cabbage
2 green peppers, diced
1 red pepper, diced
1 large onion, chopped
Combine in large bowl.
Dressing:
2 c. vinegar
2 1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. celery seed
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. mustard seed
1/2 tsp. turmeric
Combine in saucepan and bring to a boil. Pour hot mixture over cabbage mixture in bowl.
Refrigerate at least 12 hours before serving.
Will keep several days in fridge.Recipe
