Chicken Pot Pie (Soup)

Recipe Introduction
This is more like a soup, rather than baked inside a crust. Also delicious using diced ham instead of chicken.
List of Ingredients
Chicken Pot Pie
Pot Pie Dough (Dumplings):
1 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
1 large egg, beaten
Mix all ingredients together by hand. Roll into a
9-inch square on a floured surface. Cut into 1 1/2-inch squares.
Soup:
4 c. chicken broth
4 c. potatoes, cut in 1-inch chunks
4 c. cut-up cooked chicken
parsley
celery salt to taste
poultry seasoning to taste
In a wide 6 quart kettle bring the broth to a boil.
Add the potatoes and cook for 15 minutes or until
soft. Drop the squares of pot pie dough into the boiling
broth, making sure they are not on top of each other. Cover
and cook 20 minutes more. Add cooked chicken and heat thoroughly. Season to taste. Serves 6.Recipe
