Breakfast Casserole

List of Ingredients
- 2 lb. bulk sausage (1 lb. spicy and 1 lb. regular)
- 1 C. raw grits, cooked
- 1/4 stick butter or margarine
- 2 C. sharp cheddar cheese, grated (or you can get the already shredded)
- 5 eggs
- 1/4 C. milk
Instructions
- Brown and drain sausage and crumble in the bottom of a 9 x 13 pan. (Spray w/ Pam or other non stick cooking spray first)
- Cook grits according to package directions.(stiff is better than runny)
- Add butter and cheese to cooked grits.
- Beat eggs, milk, salt & pepper together and add to slightly cooled grits mixture.
- Pour over sausage in casserole.
- Bake @ 350 degrees for one hour.
- Do not bake before freezing. It can be frozen and then baked.
