Brunch Casserole
I received this recipe from a very good friend of mine, who is an excellent cook.
List of Ingredients
- 1 bag frozen hash browns
- 4 cups grated sharp cheese
- 3 Lb. Jimmy Dean Sausage; browned & drained, or ham or bacon
- 4 cups milk
- 2 tsp. dry mustard
- 8 eggs
- 1 can sliced mushrooms
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 cup sour cream
Instructions
- Place hash browns in buttered 9x13" pan.
- Layer with cheese.
- Cover with browned and drained sausage or other breakfast meat.
- Layer with mushrooms.
- Beat eggs with milk and mustard.
- Pour over. Refrigerate overnight.
- Bake at 300 degrees for 1 1/2 hours or 350 degrees for 1 hour.
- Halfway through baking, blend soup and sour cream.
- Spread over casserole and complete baking.
