Lemon Cheese Bars

Recipe Introduction


I received this recipe from my Mom and also from my aunt Marie for my bridal shower.





List of Ingredients



• 1 yellow cake mix
  
• 1 - 8 oz. pkg. cream cheese, softened
  
• 1/3 cup sugar
  
• 2 eggs
  
• 1 Tblsp. lemon juice
  
• 1/3 cup oil
  






Instructions



1. Mix cake mix, 1 egg and oil until crumbly.
   
   
2. Reserve 1 cup.
   
   
3. Pat remaining mixture lightly in an ungreased 9x13" pan.
   
   
4. Bake 15 min. at 350 degrees.
   
   
5. Beat cheese, sugar, lemon juice and 1 egg until smooth.
   
   
6. Spread over baked layer.
   
   
7. Sprinkle with 1 cup reserved crumb mixture.
   
   
8. Bake 15 min. longer.
   
   
9. Cool and cut.
