Crab Wontons

List of Ingredients
- 1 clove garlic
- 4 ounces cream cheese, cut into 3 pieces
- 1/4 pound crab meat
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp white pepper
- Dash of Worcestire sauce
- 1 pkg. wonton wrappers
- 1 egg, slightly beaten
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- In a food processor, use the steel chopping blade and process the garlic until minced.
- Add the cream cheese and process until almost smooth. Clean the crabmeat of shells, and add to the cream cheese, along with the salt, pepper, and Worcestire sauce. Process until blended.
- Place a teaspoonful of filling in the center of each wonton wrapper. Brush the edges of the wrapper with the beaten egg. Fold each wrapper diagonally in half, then fold the pointed ends and pinch to seal.
- Heat the oil in the wok, or use a deep fryer. Fry the wontons until golden brown. Drain on paper and serve.
Final Comments
These are very tasty, and even better served with a sweet and sour, or spicy dipping sauce.
