    Country Pork Chops
    says...a little sweet, a little salty, a little garlicky, and altogether perfect for pork chops--------this marinade.

    4 pork loin chops, cut 1 1/4 inches thick
    (about 2 1/4 pounds total)
    1 medium onion, chopped (1/2 cup)
    1/4 cup soy sauce
    2 Tablespoons olive oil or cooking oil
    2 tablespoons catsup
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    ground pepper

    Place pork chops in plastic bag set into a deep bowl. Combine onion, soy sauce, oil, catsup and garlic in a bowl. Pour over pork chops in bag; seal bag. Marinated chops in the refrigerator for 4 to 6 hours, turning the bag occasionally.
    Drain chops, discarding the marinade.
    Sprinkle chops with pepper. Place chops on the grill rack directly over medium coals. Grill, uncovered for 25 to 30 minutes or till a meat thermometer inserted in the center of the chops registers 160'. Turn once halfway through grilling time. Makes 4 servings.
