Oriental Beef Salad
List of Ingredients
1 lb. tender beef steak (I use NY Strip Steak or Rib Eye)
2 lg. cucumbers (I use an English Cuke)
2 red onions
15 Thai chiles, finely chopped into rings
3 limes, juiced
1 pinch Splenda
1 c. fish sauce Recipe
1- Broil or grill steak to desired doneness. Set aside. Peel cukes; slice in half lengthwise. Chop into 1/4 inch slices. Halve the red onion, and slice into fine slivers.
2- In a large bowl, combine the cucumbers, onions, chiles, lime juice, sugar and fish sauce. Slice steak into slices, 1/4 inch by 1 inch. Toss gently with vegetables until flavors are combined (about 5 min.)
