Recipe Introduction
One of the two favorite soup recipes of the Mexican culture. Mucho Gusto!!!
List of Ingredients
2 split pigs feet
1 lg. fresh pork cut bite size
3 lg. cloves garlic, minded
1 lg. onion, chopped
1 bay leaf
4 quarts water
1-3 lb. Chicken cut up
2-29 oz. cans drained hominy
2 t salt
-----
Garnish options:
Shredded cabbage chopped onion
Chopped radishes lime wedges
Salsa jalapeno slices
Crumbled dried oregano
Recipe
Cover pigs feet, pork, garlic, onion and bay leaf with water. Bring to a boil, simmer 1 hour.
Add chicken and cook 45 addition minutes
Add hominy and salt, cook 30 minutes
Serve with desired garnishes
