- 4 RIPE TOMATOES
- 1 PEELED ONION
- 3 JALAPENO PEPPERS
- 6 TOMATILLOS, HUSKS REMOVED
- 5 CLOVES GARLIC
- 1 TSP CUMIN
- 1 DASH SALT
- 3 CANNED CHIPOLTE CHILIS
Instructions
- ON A GRILL OR DRY PAN PUT ON THE TOMATOES, JALAPENOS, TOMATILLIOS, AND 0NIONS. KEEPTURNING UNTIL ALL SIDES ARE BLACKENED.
- CHOP OFF ENDS OF THE GARLIC, WRAP IN FOIL AND BAKE IN OVEN AT 350 UNTIL SOFT OR PUT ONTO GRILL UNTIL SOFT.
- REMOVE VEGGIES WHEN BLACKENED AND LET COOL. REMOVE GARLIC WHEN SOFT.
- IN A FOOD PROCESSOR COMBINE ALL AND PROCESS UNTIL SMOOTH. ADD SALT, CUMIN ANDCHIPOLTE PEPPERS AND PUREE AGAIN.
