    Larry's Coney Sauce

    List of Ingredients


    • 2 # Ground Beef
    • 1 tsp Paprika
    • 1/2 tsp Cayenne Pepper
    • 1 Tbsp Chile Powder
    • 1 tsp Salt
    • 1 tsp ground Pepper
    • 2 tsp Cumin
    • 4 cloves Garlic, finely minced
    • 1 large Onion, finely chopped
    • 1 Tbsp Vinegar
    • 1/2 cup Bread Crumbs
    • 3 + 1/2 cups Water
    • additional water if needed


    Instructions


    1. Fry Ground Beef, until lightly browned.

    2. Add Onion, and cook until soft. Drain.

    3. Add garlic, spices, and water. Stir.

    4. Simmer 1 hour on Medium low heat. Stir often.

    5. Add Bread Crumbs, stir well, and add more water if too thick.

    6. Now bake at 325 degrees F. for 1 hour



    Final Comments


    NOTE: Adding the crumbs too early, while simmering, will result in them sticking to the bottom of the pan, and BURNING!!! Trust me...I know!
