List of Ingredients
1 pound okra
3/4 cup yellow cornmeal
1/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. black pepper
1/4 cup Skim Milk or Low fat buttermilk
1/4 cup Egg Beaters® 99% Egg Substitute
Recipe
Wash the okra,cut the top and bottom from each.
Cut 1/2 iches pieces. Combine cornmeal salt and pepper in another bowl.
In another bowl combine the milk and egg.
Stir in the okra and let stand for a few minutes.
Coat the okra with cornmeal.
Place the okra on a nonstick baking pan.
Bake at 450 for 40-45 minutes until crisp.
