- 1 package powdered pectin
- 2 cups warm water
- 1 (6 ounce) can frozen grape juice concetrate, thawed
- 3-1/2 cups sugar, divided
Instructions
- Mix pectin slowly into warm water in a 2 quart bowl. Stir until pectin is dissolved. Let stand 45 minutes. Stir occasionally, but do not beat. Pour juice into a 1 quart bowl, add 1-3/4 cups sugar; mix thoroughly: All the sugar will not dissolve.
- Add remaining 1-3/4 cups sugar to dissolved pectin. Stir until all the sugar is dissolved. Combine juice mixture with pectin mixture. Stir constantly until sugar is dissolved.
- Ladle into canning or freezer jars, leaving 1/4 inch headspace. Adjust two piece caps. Let stand at room temperature until set, up to 24 hours. Lable and freeze.
- YIELD: About 4 half pints.
