Peanut Butter Cup Cookie Mix




List of Ingredients



• 1-1/3 cup flour
  
• 1 teaspoon baking powder
  
• 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  
• 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
  
• 3/4 cup sugar
  
• 8 peanut butter cup candies, choped
  






Instructions



1. In a large bowl, combine flour, baking powder and baking soda. Layer ingredients in a 1-quart jar in order given.
   
2. Use scissors to cut a 9-inch diameter circle from fabric of your choice. Center fabric over lid and secure with a rubber band. Tie on a raffia or ribbon bow to cover the rubber band. Attach a card with the following instructions
   
3. PEANUT BUTTER CUP COOKIES: Using a large spoon remove peanut butter cup pieces from the jar and set aside. Empty cookie mix into a large bowl. Stir with the spoon to evenly distribute all the ingredients. Add 1/2 cup softened butter or margarine, 1 egg and 1 teaspoon vanilla. Mix until completely blended. Mixture will be thick. Add peanut butter cup pieces. Shape into walnut sized balls and place on a greased cookie sheet 2-inches apart. Press balls down with a fork. Bake at 350 degrees for 12 to 14 minutes or until edges are lightly browned. Yield 2-1/2 dozen cookies.
