    Porkchops with Scalloped Potatoes


    List of Ingredients


    • 3 Tablespoons butter or margarine
    • 3 Tablespoons all-purpose flour
    • 1-1/2 teaspoons salt
    • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
    • 1 can (15 ounces) chicken broth
    • 6 porkchops
    • 2 Tablespoons cooking oil
    • 6 cups thinly sliced, peeled potatoes
    • 1 medium onion
    • Paprika


    Instructions


    1. In a saucepan, melt butter, stir in flour, salt, and pepper. Add chicken broth, cook and stir constantly until mixture boils. Cook for one minute, then set aside.
    2. In a skillet, brown porkchops in oil. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
    3. In a 9-inch x 13-inch baking dish, layer potatoes and onions. Place porkchops on top of potatoes and onions. Cover and bake at 350 for 1 hour. Uncover and bake for 30 minutes longer. Sprinkle with Paprika.
