    Potato Dumplings


    List of Ingredients


    • 3 Potatoes
    • Salt
    • Cornstarch
    • 1/2 Onion, chopped
    • 1 lb. ground beef
    • Salt and Pepper to taste
    • 1 egg, beaten


    Instructions


    1. Preheat oven to 480 degrees. Peel potatoes, dice and boil. While potatoes are boiling, brown ground beef and onion with salt and pepper to taste. When potatoes are done drain and mash them, do not add any butter or milk. Add enough cornstarch to the mashed potatoes to make them very thick and stick together.
    2. Drain ground beef and onion mixture. Form potatoes into balls and stuff them with the meat mixture. When you have got all the balls (potato dumplings) made, brush them with your egg and bake in the 480 degree oven for 15 minutes.
