Scalloped Potatoes and Pork Chops
List of Ingredients
- 6 pork chops
- 5 cups potatoes, sliced
- 6 slices american cheese
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 cup onions, chopped
- 10 ounces cream of celery, condensed
- 1 cup milk
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Brown pork chops in hot fat. Place half of the potatoes in a greased 9-in. x 13-in. baking dish. Top with cheese slices and add remaining potatoes.
- Place pork chops on top and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Cook onions in drippings from browned pork chops in skillet until tender but NOT brown and put on top of the pork chops.
- Mix soup and milk up in a bowl and pour over the pork chops and potatoes. Cover and bake for 1 hour, remove cover and bake another 30 minutes.
