Chili
List of Ingredients
- 3 pounds ground beef, browned and drained
- 1/2 large onion, diced
- 2 Tablespoons chili powder
- 1/2 Tablespoon cayenne pepper
- 1 large can chili beans
- 2 cans (15 ounces) diced tomatoes, undrained
- dash of cinnamon
- shot of Jim Bean Kentucky Bourbon, optional
Instructions
- Brown ground beef and drain. Add onions to pan and saute until transparent.
- Return browned beef to pan; add remaining ingredients except bourbon.
- Simmer on low 4-5 hours. Just before serving add bourbon, if desired and simmer another 5 minutes.
