List of Ingredients
- 1 teaspoon clear vanilla extract
- 2 Tablespoons water
- 1 cup vegetable shortening
- 1 Tablespoon meringue powder
- 4 cups (1 lb) powdered sugar, sifted (measure then sift)
- 1 teaspoon clear butter extract
- pinch of salt
Instructions
- Sift meringue powder and powdered sugar together, cream all other ingredients and mix everything together. This is STIFF CONSISTENCY
- FOR MEDIUM CONSISTENCY: add 1 more teaspoon water per 1 cup icing.
- FOR SOFT CONSISTENCY: add 3 more teaspoons water per 1 cup icing.
