Cheesy Tomato Basil Chicken

Sauce:
3 Tbsp. butter
1/3 cup chopped onion
2 cups ripe tomatoes, 1" cubes
6 oz. tomato paste
1 Tbsp. dried basil
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
Chicken:
3 whole skinless, boneless chicken breasts - cut in half
Topping:
3/4 cup fresh bread crumbs
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
2 Tbsp. butter, melted
6 oz. shredded mozzarella cheese (1 1/2 cups)Recipe
Heat oven to 350F. In 9x13 pan melt 3 Tbsp. butter in oven (4-6 minutes). Meanwhile, in medium bowl stir together all remaining sauce ingredients; set aside.
Place chicken in baking pan, turning to coat with butter. Spoon sauce mixture over chicken. Bake for 30-40 minutes or until chicken is no longer pink.
Meanwhile in small bowl stir together all topping ingredients *except* cheese; sprinkle with chicken with cheese, then with topping mixture.
Continue baking for 5-10 minutes or until chicken is fork tender and bread crumbs are browned.
