    SLOW COOKER SWEET MAPLE BAKED BEANS

    2 cups dried Navy Beans, sorted and rinsed
    10 cups Water
    3/4 cup Water
    1 med Onion, chopped (1/2 cup)
    3/4 cup real Maple Syrup
    3 Tblsp packed Brown Sugar
    2 tsps ground Mustard
    1/2 tsp ground Ginger
    1 tsp Salt

    Recipe



    1) Heat Beans and 10 cups water to boiling in 6-Qt Dutch Oven; reduce heat. Cover and simmer 2 hours; drain.

    2) Mix Beans, 3/4 cup water and the remaining ingredients in a 3-1/2 to 4-Qt slow cooker.

    3) Cover and cook on LOW heat setting for 8 to 10 hours, or until Beans are very tender and most of the liquid has been absorbed.

    MAKES 8 SERVINGS (1/2 cup each)
