List of Ingredients
2 lb. beef stew meat
2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 medium onion, roughly chopped
1/2 lb. carrots, cut up
2 lb. potatoes, cut up
4 cubes beef bouillon
2 c. water
1 c V-8 juice
2 Tbsp. lemon juice
Salt and pepper to taste
Tabasco to taste
3 Tbsp. cornstarch
3 tbsp. cold water
Recipe
Saute beef and onions in pan with Worcestershire sauce just until meat in browned, then put in crock pot. Add carrots, potatoes, unbroken bouillon cubes, water, V-8 juice, and lemon juice. Cover; cook on HIGH for 6 to 8 hours. If desired, thicken with cornstarch mixed with water and pour into stew. After cooking add salt/pepper or tabasco sauce to taste.
