    2 carrots, chopped
    2 ribs celery, chopped
    1 onion, chopped
    3 cloves garlic
    2 pounds ground beef
    2 cans 14.5 oz each Italian seasoned diced tomatoes
    1 cup beef broth
    3 tbs tomato paste
    2 tsp sugar
    1 tsp dried oregano
    1 tsp salt
    1/4 tsp black pepper
    1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
    1 pkg 10 oz frozen peas
    1/2 cup heavy cream
    1 pound bow tie pasta
    Grated Parmesan Cheese

    Pulse together carrots, celery, onion and garlic in blender or food processor until finely chopped. In bowl, mix together chopped veggies, meat, tomatoes, beef broth, tomato paste, sugar, oregano, salt and black pepper and
    cayenne pepper until well combined. Place meat and veggie mixture in slow cooker. Cover, cook on high heat for 5 1/2 hours. Stir in thawed peas and heavy cream. Cover
    and cook for another 30 min. Cook pasta in pot of lightly salted boiling water until tender, Drain. Add 6 cups of meat sauce to the pasta in pot, toss and serve with grated Parmesan cheese. ANY REMAINING SAUCE CAN BE PUT IN
    FREEZER FOR FUTURE USE FOR UP TO 3 MONTHS.*
