    6 medium carrots
    4 medium potatoes
    1 medium onion
    2 stalks celery
    1/2 lb. ground meat
    1/4 tsp. sage
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 egg
    1 slice bread
    1 Tbsp. cream or milk
    1 1/2 Tbsp. flour
    1 can beef bouillon
    2 Tbsp. minced parsley

    Recipe



    peel and cube vegetables. Place in large pand; add 2 cups water and 1/2 teaspoon salt and cook until tender. Make meat balls with remainder of the ingredients except bouillon. Form into small round balls. Cook in 1 1/2 cups boiling water for 8 minutes. Add bouillon, not diluted, to boiling water. pour liquid and meat balls over cooked vegetables.
