SWEET POTATO CRISP

List of Ingredients
6 md Sweet potatoes
1/2 c Margarine
1/4 c Flour, all-purpose
1/2 c Sugar, brown
1 1/2 ts Pepper
1/4 c Evaporated milk
1/2 c Pecans; groundRecipe
Cook sweet potatoes; peel, and slice crosswise, about 3/8-inch thick. Spread in a buttered shallow 1-1/2 quart casserole. Cut margarine into flour and brown sugar as you would in making pie crust. Add pepper, milk, and ground nuts. Mix well. Spread over potatoe slices. Broil about 6 inches from heat until bubbly and caramelized, about 7 minutes.
