    Sweet Dills

    1 gallon sliced dill pickles
    5 lbs sugar
    2 T. fresh garlic
    6 oz. of favorite red hot sauce (more if you like)

    Pour pickles and juice into colander. Drain and squeeze out all liquid.
    Mix sugar, garlic and hot sauce well.
    Put a layer of pickles back into the jar and cover layer with sugar and
    garlic mixture. Continute until all pickles and sugar is used.
    Every 24 hrs, turn the jar over. Do this for five das before eating.
    These are almost candied and good with everything.
