Cabbage Bake
1 head of cabbage, shredded
1 small onion, chopped
4 tbsp butter or margarine
4 tbsp flour
salt & pepper to taste
2 cups evaporated milk
2 cups grated Cheddar cheese (more if preferred)
Saute cabbage & onion in small amout of oil, or butter.....set aside.
Make white sauce out of remaining ingredients.. On very low heat...
Melt butter, add milk, cheese and flour, cooking until slightly thickened..
Place cabbage in casserole dish..
Pour sauce over cabbage and bake 350 degrees until bubbly..
