NOTES : My family really likes this one, especially my youngest daughter. This is all hand work, don't use an electric mixer, but it does go together quickly. I cut the biscuits with a Pizza cutter, as I want them squared off. I place them close together on a cookie sheet for soft sides. this loaf dough can be cut into 10 to 12 squares depending on how large you want the biscuits, and the biscuits do expand a bit when baked. You can swap the cheese for 1 cup of Cranberries, fresh or frozen; vut up of course, for cranberry biscuits.
Other cheese can be used, but Cheddar gives the best flavor.
The original recipe calls for an ungreased cookie sheet, but I find one sprayed with Pam does the best.
This recipe doubles easily.
