Glazes for Fruitcakes

Jelly Glaze: -- Heat 1/4 cup apple or currant jelly over low heat, stirring occcasionally until smooth.
Sweet Glaze -- Heat 2 Tablespoons light corn syrup and 1 Tablespoon of Water just to boiling. cool to lukewarm.
NOTES : Pour a thin glaze over your favorite fruitcake after storing. the Jelly glaze and sweet glaze is enough for one fruitcake.
To decorate, dip undersides of cut candied fruit in additional glaze and press on top of cake.
