To make the dollops of whipped Cream to freeze
To the whipping cream add 2 Tablespoons Confectioner's Sugar and 1/2 teaspoon Vanilla to each cup of cream before whipping.
Drop in mounds on a tray covered with waxed paper or foil; Swirl the tops to make it look nice.
Place in the freezer until solidly frozen.
Using a spatula transfer the puffs to a resealable plastic bag; and store in the freezer.
Thaw at least 45 minutes in the refrigerator or 20 minutes at room temperature before serving.
Recipe
Dollops of Whipped Cream on standby in the freezer add quick goodness and glamour to any dessert. You can put these frozen dollops on top of Strawberry Shortcake, Pudding, Hot Fruit Compote, or what have you.
