Recipe Introduction

This is a new years treat. (on Felicitateer Nieuw Jaar) You can also use whisky.

List of Ingredients

One pound Sultana raisins
one pound rock candy (or sugar)
one quart brandy


Recipe

Cover raisins with water and cook ten minutes. Drain and add rock candy. Dissolve. add brandy and let stand at least two days in a closed container. Serve in small glasses with a small spoon.
