    List of Ingredients

    1 lrg can Pabst Blue Ribbon hop flavored malt (light)
    5 gallons water
    1 tsp salt
    5 pounds sugar
    1 yeast cake

    Recipe

    Dissolve sugar and malt syrup in 6 quarts of hot water. Stir until dissolved. Pour 14 quarts of cold water into a crock that has been sanitized and rinsed with clear water. Add hot solution of malt, sugar, and water. The temperature should be about 80F.
    Dissolve a cake of compressed or dehydrated yeast in a small quantity of lukewarm water (about 8 ounces of 75F water) and let stand for 10 minutes.
    When the water mixture cools a little, to 65 degrees, Add the yeast mixture to the sugar mixture.
    Let stand 5-6 days at 72 degrees F.. Bottle and don't drink for 2 weeks
