7 lemons, washed
1 liter of vodka
3 C sugar
1 qt half and halfRecipe
Zest the lemons without any pith. Place in a large jar with the the vodka. Let sit for 2 to 3 weeks.
In a large pot, add the sugar and cream. Heat until the sugar has dissolved. Let cool completely. Strain the lemon-alcohol mixture into the pot. Pour mixture into decanters. Store in refrigerator for 5 days before drinking.
