    1. Rosewater is hard to get since it is perishable and requires a still.

    2. this is an excellent substitution.

    3. Nearly fill a glass jar with rose petals and pour in sufficient brady to fill up. Cover closely.

    4. Next day put the whole into a strainer, having squeezed and pressed the petals over a bowl. Reserve liquid. Discard petals.

    5. Add fresh petals to jar. pour brandy liquid back into jar. Cover closely.

    6. Repeat every day that roses are in season.

    7. A liquid much better than rosewater for cakes and puddings or beverages.
