Instructions
- Rosewater is hard to get since it is perishable and requires a still.
- this is an excellent substitution.
- Nearly fill a glass jar with rose petals and pour in sufficient brady to fill up. Cover closely.
- Next day put the whole into a strainer, having squeezed and pressed the petals over a bowl. Reserve liquid. Discard petals.
- Add fresh petals to jar. pour brandy liquid back into jar. Cover closely.
- Repeat every day that roses are in season.
- A liquid much better than rosewater for cakes and puddings or beverages.
