List of Ingredients
- four quarts water
- one cup brown sugar
- one cup granulated sugar
- two lemons, thinly sliced
- one quarter teaspoon dry yeast
- a few blossoms of hops
- raisins
Instructions
- Heat the water to boiling. Add hops sugar and lemon slices. Cool to luke warm. Transfer to non-metallic container
- Add yeast and stir. Let it stand overnight (or eight to ten hours) in a warm place. It should be bubbly around the edges.
- Next day, strain and bottle. To each bottle add one tablespoon sugar and a few raisins. Do not cap too tightly. Keep at room temperature for two days, or until the raisins float to the top. Cap tightly and chill.
