List of Ingredients

three and one half pounds of honey
one gallon water
twenty four walnut leaves
one yeast cake


Recipe

boil honey and water together for 45 minutes. Pour, boiling hot, over walnut leaves and let stand overnight. Remove leaves and add yeast. Cover with an oversize lid and let stand two or three days. Cover tightly and let stand three months. Bottle.
