Recipe Introduction

Use fresh roe if available. I have included the can measure because fresh is not available everywhere.

List of Ingredients

1 8-oz can or jar of shad roe
Mayonnaise, enough to moisten
Garlic powder, to taste
lemon juice, to taste


Recipe

remove membrane from roe and break roe apart. Add mayonnaise, garlic and lemon juice. Let stand at least half an hour. Mixture may have too much liquid after standing, if so, drain before serving.
Use as an appetizer.
