Serves 6.
Place 12 sausages, in link form, 6 lamb brochettes or chops and 6 small steaks (or ground round steak patties, in a wire form) on hot coals for 5 minutes on one side, turn and brown other side. Either mop the B.B.Q. sauce on, at end of cooking or serve the sauce with.
Salsa de Baracoa
1 small onion, grated
1 clove garlic, pressed
1/2 C olive oil
1 1/2 tsp dry mustard powder
1 1/2 tsp salt
2 T chili powder
1 1/2 C tomato paste
1/2 C ketchup
6 T lemon or lime juice
Recipe
Cook onion and garlic in oil until tender. Add remaining ingredients and cook 5 minutes or until thick.
Use as barbeque sauce or to reheat cold meats in.
