    This is a base, to be diluted as needed.

    List of Ingredients




    2 C sugar
    2 1/2 C water
    1 C mint leaves
    juice of 2 oranges
    juice of 6 lemons
    grated peel of 1 orange

    Recipe



    Cook the sugar and water for 5 minutes to make a simple syrup. Place mint leaves in a container, along with the juices and peel, and pour the hot syrup over. Cover and let steep as for tea for 1 hour.
    Strain into a glass container. Label it lemonade base. Place a lid on and keep in the fridge.
    To use, measure out 1/3 lemonade to 2/3 water, by the glass or pitcherful.
