    When making cottage cheese, reserve the whey.

    List of Ingredients




    1/2 C oat flour
    1/2 C barley flour
    1 C unbleached flour
    3 tsp baking powder
    1/2 tsp salt
    1/4 C bacon fat
    3/4 C whey
    1/4 C powdered milk

    Recipe



    Combine dry ingredients. Cut in fat. Add liquid and stir. Knead on a lightly floured board. Roll out to 1/2 inch thick and cut into 2 inch biscuits. Bake at 450 degrees F. for 15 minutes. (or more).
