List of Ingredients
1/2 C raw rice
3 C boiling water
1 tsp salt
1/2 yeast cake softened in,
1/2 C lukewarm water
3 eggs, well beaten
1/4 C sugar
1/8 tsp nutmeg
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 C sifted flour
Recipe
Cook rice until very soft, drain, mash and cool to lukewarm. Add yeast, beat and let rise overnight. In the morning, add remaining ingredients. Beat again and let rise about 20 minutes in a warm place. Drop by tablespoonfuls into hot fat (360 degrees F.) and fry until a golden brown. Drain on absorbent paper and serve hot.
