List of Ingredients
3 C flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
2 T sugar
4 eggs
2 1/4 C milk
5 T melted butter
1/2 tsp vanilla
Recipe
Sift dry ingredients together.
Beat the egg yolks light. Add the milk and beat into the first mixture. Stir in the butter and the vanilla. Add the egg whites, whipped stiff. Mixture will be quite thin. Drop by small tablespoons onto a greased baking sheet, leaving enough room for them to spread. Bake in a hot oven at 400 degrees F., turn as soon as the bottoms are browned. serve with crushed or cooked fruit.
These may also be done on the top of the stove with just enough grease to cover the bottom of the pan.
