    Recipe Introduction


    Preheat oven to 450 degrees F.

    List of Ingredients




    1 C all-purpose flour
    1/2 tsp salt
    2 eggs
    1 C milk
    1 C shredded sharp cheddar cheese (4 oz)
    3 green onions, chopped

    Recipe



    Coat 8 cups of a popover pan with cooking spray. (fill any empty cups with water so pan does not burn.
    In a medium bowl whisk together flour and salt. In a second bowl whisk together eggs and milk. Add egg mixture to flour mixture and stir just until mixed. Stir in green onions and cheese. Fill prepared cups about three quarters full. (about 1/3 C batter). Bake 15 minutes. reduce temperature to 350 degree f. and bake 10-15 minutes more or until browned and puffed. Do not open oven door until end of baking time or they will collapse.
    Remove from oven and immediately remove from pans. Pierce sides once with a knife to release steam. Serve warm.

    Can be reheated in a 350 oven for 5 minutes to crisp outside edges.
