List of Ingredients
1 1/3 C milk
3 T butter, melted
1 C cornmeal
3/4 C flour
1 T sugar
1 tsp salt
1 tsp baking powder
Recipe
Combine well. Use a 1/4 cup measure for each toastado to make a 3 inch pancake. Cook as for regular pancakes on a 375 degree F. griddle, turning once.
Top with a Mexican meat sauce, (and-or fried egg), some shredded lettuce or cabbage, guacamole, diced tomatoes, shredded cheese and sour cream as desired. (cilantro for garnish)
