Recipe Introduction

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Butter and flour a 9x12 inch baking pan.

List of Ingredients

2 C flour
1 1/2 C sugar
dash salt
2 tsp baking soda
1 # 2 can crushed pineapple with juice (2 1/2 C)

Icing;
1 1/2 c sugar
1 small can evaporated milk
1 stick butter
dash salt
1 C coconut
1 C pecans
1 tsp vanilla



Recipe

Mix cake ingredients. Pour into a greased and floured 9x12 pan. bake at 350 degrees for 34 minutes. Leave in the pan.
While cake bakes, boil together sugar, milk and butter. Add coconut, pecans, vanilla and salt. Pour over cake while both are still warm. Cover with foil. When cake is cold, cut into squares.
