    List of Ingredients




    1 6oz-box Apricot Jello
    2 cups sugar
    2/3 cup apricot nectar
    3 tablespoons lemon juice
    1 cup boiling water
    1/4 cup pecans, chopped fine
    1/2 cup dried Turkish apricots, reconstituted

    Recipe



    To Reconstitute Apricots: Simmer in a small amount of water or fruit juice until tender. Cooking time approx 15 minutes. Or soak overnight in juice or water in your refrigerator. Drain well, dry in toweling,and chop fine.

    Soak gelatine in apricot nectar for five minutes then dissolve in boiling water, add sugar and lemon juice, and stir until sugar is dissolved. Boil twenty minutes, and,
    when nearly cold, add nuts and fruit. Pour into a small
    pan; let stand several hours or overnight. Cut in small rectangles, and roll in confectioners' sugar.
    These are not good keepers unless you candy the apricots after they are reconstituted.
