12 bright red corn cobs
2 qts water

sugar

Break cobs that the cooked corn has been cut off of and cook in boiling water until when sampled, you have a definate taste of the cob in the water. Strain, reserving liquid.
To each 3 cups of liquid, add 1 package of sure jell and 3 cups sugar. Bring to a boil. Boil 5 minutes or to jelly stage. Place in jars and seal.
