Conserve, Gingered Cranberry

List of Ingredients
6 C cranberries
1 orange
1 1/2 C apple juice
3 C sugar
6 tblsp grated ginger
1 1/2 C walnut pieces (or pecans)
Recipe
In blender, process orange to a pulp with apple juice. Combine with cranberries, sugar and ginger in a pan. Bring to a boil over medium high heat. Reduce heat to medium and cook until berries burst (10 minutes). Stir in walnuts and pack into serilized jars for 15 minutes. (pint jars at sea level).
Variation; add 2 tblsp orange liqueur.
