List of Ingredients
12 oz dried figs (1 1/2 C)
1 1/2 C firmly packed light brown sugar
1 C cider vinegar
1 1/2 C water
1 cinnamon stick
1 tsp whole clove
1 tsp ground allspice
Recipe
Pierce each fig several times with a fork.
In a medium saucepan bring brine ingredients to a boil. Add figs and simmer, covered, about 35 minutes, or until tender. Store in the fridge.
