1 qt oysters
1 qt oyster liquor
1 1/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp allspice
1 tsp mace
3/4 tsp cloves
1 C heated vinegarRecipe
wash and clean the oysters. bring the liquor to a boil and skim. Add oysters and seasonings, cook until the oysters are plump and edges curl. Add the hot vinegar and pour into sterilized jars. Seal. Allow to stand at least 24 hours before serving.
